RISK MANAGERS

Position Available

The duties under a Risk Management job description include the following:

  • Designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organisation, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur

  • Performing a risk assessment: Analysing current risks and identifying potential risks that are affecting the company

  • Performing a risk evaluation: Evaluating the company’s previous handling of risks, and comparing potential risks with criteria set out by the company such as costs and legal requirements

  • Establishing the level of risk the company are willing to take

  • Preparing risk management and insurance budgets

  • Risk reporting tailored to the relevant audience. (Educating the board of directors about the most significant risks to the business; ensuring business heads understand the risks that might affect their departments; ensuring individuals understand their own accountability for individual risks)

  • Explaining the external risk posed by corporate governance to stakeholders

  • Creating business continuity plans to limit risks

  • Implementing health and safety measures, and purchasing insurance

  • Conducting policy and compliance audits, which will include liaising with internal and external auditors

  • Maintaining records of insurance policies and claims

  • Reviewing any new major contracts or internal business proposals

  • Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company

Risk Management job qualifications and requirements

A degree in the following subjects is not vital but can be included in a job description:

  • Risk Management

  • Management or Business Studies

  • Finance or Economics

  • Science

  • Statistics

  • Engineering

  • Law

Postgraduate degrees are not mandatory, but may also be beneficial.

If a candidate does not have a degree, a career in risk management is certainly still possible, but would mean working up the career path, likely starting at an administrative level.

When compiling a Risk Management job description, it’s important to also display the following skills:

RESEARCH PARTNER

Position Available

Summary

Collects edits, processes, and coordinates research data in support of a specified research study or group of studies. Arranges and conducts field interviews as appropriate to the study, and records research data in accordance with specified protocol and procedures. Travels to various sites within a specified geographical area, as appropriate to the objectives of the study.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Travels to field sites to collect and record data and/or samples as appropriate to the specific objectives of the study.

  2. As appropriate to the specified position, codes and verifies data in accordance with specified research protocol and coding procedures, and enters data into a computer database and/or spreadsheet application for subsequent analysis.

  3. Develops or assists in the development of interview schedules; contacts potential subjects to introduce and explain study objectives and protocol, and to arrange interviews, either in person or by telephone.

  4. Identifies and compiles lists of potential research subjects in accordance with study objectives and parameters, as appropriate to the individual position.

  5. Conducts and records face-to-face and/or telephone interviews with subjects, in accordance with predetermined interview protocol, data collection procedures, and documentation standards.

  6. Reviews and edits data to ensure completeness and accuracy of information; follows up with subjects to resolve problems or clarify data collected.

  7. May set up, calibrate, and maintain field research equipment, as specified by the requirements of the study.

  8. May lead or guide the work of employees.

  9. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

  • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

BRANCH CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Position Available

Job Overview:
Provide comprehensive assistance to all customers visiting the branch, schedule service calls, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. Monitor and resolve customer service issues and collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth operations and meet business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Assistance & Scheduling
    Assist all customers coming to the branch and schedule service calls to meet their needs promptly.

  • Customer Service & Issue Resolution
    Perform re-services for customers to ensure optimal satisfaction and resolve any issues efficiently.

  • Customer Surveys & Quality Management
    Conduct surveys with current customers to assess service quality, establish performance standards for employees, and maintain professional relationships to ensure effective communication.

  • Service Cancellations & Problem Solving
    Monitor customer requests for service cancellations, recommending appropriate solutions to resolve issues and enhance customer experience.

  • Emergency Support & Compliance
    Provide emergency support to customers, ensuring all issues are resolved. Maintain a work schedule that meets all client business requirements.

  • Collaboration & Coordination
    Work closely with the call center customer service representatives and service manager to resolve issues and support activities to meet customer objectives.

  • Customer Database Management & Sales
    Maintain and update the customer contact database, ensuring the achievement of promotional sales targets through effective sales referral processes.

  • Cash Transactions Compliance
    Ensure compliance with cash transaction procedures and performance standards. Assist in balancing transactions at the end of each shift.

  • Branch Cash Control & Security
    Monitor and ensure compliance with branch cash control and security requirements. Keep up to date with company products and services to provide accurate information.

  • Risk Control & Regulatory Compliance
    Oversee operational risk control procedures and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and Velositi Consultancy Group policies.
